And FWIW, I'm not saying Arkansas is going to be a bad team. Quite the opposite. Nine or ten wins. I just don't understand why anyone would make preseason predictions for anyone other than Alabama to win the West. Alabama for be the consensus number one to open the season. LSU would be the next highest ranked team to open to the season, at 17-20.

Capstone, come August I'm not too sure that LSU will be ranked higher than Arkansas in the 2 or 3 polls of significance.

FWIW Just about everyone picked Bama to win the west. Did you look at the thread?

FWIW Most so called college football experts or analyst have Arkansas ranked somewhere in the top 20. (Haven't paid much attention to where they are predicting LSU)

I don't think it would be too big of a reach to predict LSU or Arkansas to be a surprise in the west. The west will be extremely competitive this year.

Auburn--I think is still a year away.
