I came up for the football game last November and also might be coming up for the baseball series this w/e
honestly, a great thing to do is just take in the scenery in Oxford and just walk around on campus taking in the sights, very very nice campus

If you are looking for something on the nicer side to eat, you can't beat City Grocery or 208. Hope you enjoy your weekend, hopefully the weather is beautiful like the last few years.
PS - Do not drink and drive - there will be road blocks around every turn this weekend. Plenty of cab services in Oxford and it is usually just $5 a head. Trust me on this one.

mmjones list is what id advise as well, but if you have enough time just bar hop. That's the great thing about the square is there is about 20 bars so close together. Funkies and the piano bar are real fun too
As far as resturants go once again id go with mmjones list but 208 and Ajax are a must, Rib cage can be a lot of fun too

Most cabs are 10 for the first and 5 for everyone after that. Its a ripoff but worth it. Library is pretty overrated but then again I've been there like 100 times so its gotten pretty old to me.

I despise that place. There are so many bars in oxford that are just as good, if not better, in my opinion. In Oxford, everyone goes to the library.....because...everyone goes to the Library.
My bar suggestions are Burgundy Room, which also gets really packed but its generally a better crowd, Roosters, Frank and Marley's (RIP Murffs

i dont care for the Library really. But i am a huge fan of Burgundy Room and Frank and Marleys. But it kinda depends on what you want exactly.
When it comes to food im not a big fan of Ajax. But i love me some Old Venice. I guess its all to each his own though....The thing about Oxford is just find youre way to the Square then you cant go wrong with everything being so close.
And just have fun and like others said dont drink and drive or else you will end up in jail for the night lol

People go to the Library cause the girls go to the Library so they can dance. But plenty of tail elsewhere, roosters, frank and marlees, funky's, burg room, downtown grill, etc.

WEnt to Oxford for the Bama game this year. Don't know how you feel about museums or literature, but the Faulkner museum was nice.
