you can select 1 and only 1 player for each position. Base your answer on college performance only, not NFL career.

I'll start:
QB Tebow
RB Bo Jackson
WR Josh Reed
OL Kevin Mawae
DL John Henderson
LB Patrick Willis
DB Champ Bailey

Herschel Walker laughs at that list.

Bo Jackson thinks Hershal Walker is slow.

Bo was a better athlete, but Herschel was a much better RB.

DMAC is a better athlete than Peterson, Peterson has proven to be a better RB. It's the same scenario.

QB Steve Spurrier
RB Bo Jackson
WR Josh Reed
OL John Hannah
DL Glenn Dorsey (bit homerish)
LB Derrick Thomas
DB Tommy Casanova (could put Bailey here no problem)

OL- John Hannah is widely considered to be the best offensive linemen not only from the SEC, but in pro football.
WR- Don Hutson is second only to Jerry Rice on most lists as a wideout. Ozzie Newsome was also great.
DL- easily goes to Reggie White
LB- Derrick Thomas no doubt.
DB- Champ Bailey is as good as anyone, though there's plenty that you could have an argument for here.
QB- Tebow for all around accomplishments
RB- Herchel; better college career than Bo.

Again, I wrote "best from the SEC"- the pro angle was just an addition.

Yep. He was a better pure QB in college than Timmy. Just doesn't have all of the accolades

Soo...even after this stipulation, you're still gonna take Bo?

Walker would be rated a 100 on NCAA 2010, Bo Jackson would be a 99.

Agree with this list except I'd put Eric Berry over Champ Bailey. Tebow may be the best college QB from the SEC, but he will never come close to players like Manning, Namath, Starr on all time best QB lists.
