What do yall think about this for the expansion of DWS?

thoughts? I personally don't like the seating above the future coaches offices.

quote:

Banner Ads
- I'm definitely in favor of expanding on the 'banner advertising' campaign that we have outside the stadium. I think we should incorporate 2 additional banners in the corners of the North End zone/Concourse area.
- I think we need some more 'creative visuals' inside the stadium. Ribbon boards would be installed above the student section and right below the club level seating. Another one would be above the suite level and that would permanently display the time, score, stats, etc.

Concourse/North End zone Suite/Club Level areas
- I like the idea of having an 'open-air' concourse where you can walk from one end of the endzone to the other, look down to the field, sit and eat/drink, etc. You enter into the club level, suite, or upper deck areas from this concourse. This design also shows that the concourse could eventually extended to wrap around the entire stadium. Visitor's locker room would be underneath the end zone addition with a new entrance.

M-Club Building Improvements/Canopy Banners/
Coach's Offices/Additional Student seating
- Coach Mullen eventually wants to create coaching offices in the endzone. I've tried to envision something like that built into the M-Club building, with some additional student seating above the structure.
- Canopy Banners have been used at some schools for team spirit and they usually were above team entrances. I think they could also be used between 'sections' of the stadium.
- We need to ditch the "ramps" b/c the visiting locker room would be on the North End zone, and we need to create a better home locker room area entrance. I have no idea what this would look like.

The banners are flat out gay. Everything else looks good. My question is how bad do yall want the bowl in? Obviously you're tired of having one of the smallest stadiums, but theres no doubt the SEC would ban the cowbells if yall ever got 70,000 together. So bowl in the stadium and get rid of your 'tradition' or keep the bells?

Do yall truly believe yall need this? I know yall set a couple records, but you also had the best schedule in the nation as far as attracting fans.

Have yall sold your season ticket sales out yet? DWS needs some serious work on it already. I know its more fun to have an expansion, but is it smarter?

There is a very long waiting list for skyboxes and club level seating already, so in that regard we are in dire need for expansion and i believe we could very well fill up what the photoshopped expansion looks like.

Yea, so does Southern. Sky boxes are always in high demand. Thats why I think its always smarter to have sky boxes instead of an upper deck if you know youre not going to sell out every game.

The question of do yall need this doesnt really matter right now anyway. It will be answered this season. If yall do as well as far as attendance as last year, then yall definitely need an expansion. Same with OM. If we have the same numbers with our only good home games being Auburn and yall then we need one as well.

Is it really necessary?

I mean, i want a 20,000+ seat expansion too, but i know we couldn't fill it up.

this is only upping capacity to 70,000, it's not like we're aiming for 90k.

But Badass! Basically Texas'. The second one is what would happen first though. Just a bowl in. No upper deck maybe some suits.
