from Adam Schefter:
There's smoke coming off the track: LSU WR Trindon Holliday just recoreded one of fastest 40-yard dashes ever run in Indy, a blazing 4.22.

INDIANAPOLIS It looks like LSU’s Trindon Holliday even beat his goal this morning – and toppled Titans running back Chris Johnson’s mark in the process.
According to reports from those watching the drills here at the NFL Combine, Holliday just ran an unofficial time of 4.22 here in the 40. Other stopwatches, however, clocked him at 4.27 and 4.32.
Earlier in the week, Holliday said his goal was to run a 4.23.
Johnson ran a blistering time of 4.24 in the 40 in 2008. You can be sure he's pointing to the 4.27 and 4.32 times this morning. The official combine times won't be sent to NFL teams until a few weeks.
“It is not really a competition. I just want to come out and run as fast as I can,’’ Holliday said. “But I am going to try to (beat Johnson’s time).’’
Holliday, who is just 5–5, is a return specialist who compares himself to San Diego running back Darren Sproles.
Holliday said he was timed at 4.21 in the 40 a few weeks ago. Clemson’s Jacoby Ford and Kansas State’s Brandon Banks are two more player who could challenge Johnson’s time.

To run a 4.22, just stop the watch a bit quicker.
