re: What would you make Ole Miss mascot be?

These have nothing to do with rebels, but,

how about a bird or an animal that is from Mississippi, like the Mississippi Kite



or the Red Fox which is the state manamal



or the Spicebush Swallowtail, Miss's state butterfly




Here's a mascot costume of a Tidal wave (close to a Flood). Just color it Red, White, and Blue and call it the Patriotic Flood.
