those other teams have talented young players also they just had talented veteran players as well which Bama only had a few of especially on defense.

Anders, Reamer, Washinton, would not have even contributed to any of those other 3 teams.

Bama's team should be scary athletic next year with a much more athletic front 7 and more talented secondary.

I doubt they have the leadership or experience to make a serious run at the championship, but could make it back to Atlanta with a better offense this year.

Well, it's hard to disagree with any of your points there. I've always said Alabama had a lot more talent on offense than they did on defense. That's why I've been so critical of McElroy and McElwain. How can the defense be so much more effective than the offense with a lot less talent. It was inexcusable to me.
