So Greg McElroy has been hiding broken ribs.....

Explains the low passing totals. Not that Texas didn't do a great job in their secondary. Rewatching the second QTR. McElroy just got sacked by Kindle... he didn't look good on the sidelines after that series.

worse performance ever... and it's COMPLETELY justifiable. at least he played! i'm sure he was told at the GET go to NEVER pass unless he's 1110% sure it's good. protect the ball and don't make mistakes... our running game will handle the rest.

Great defenses win N.C., good O's give them time to rest and take a breath. I'm impressed with McElroy as a QB and a person of his age; smart young man. All the other crap said about this hurt QB thing is just a matter of personal conjecture.

Saban said he's had the rib problem for a while. He played with it during the SEC Championship game and did OK.

Bad ribs wasn't the reason he stunk it up in the NCG. His receivers either weren't getting sufficiently open, or he was too afraid of being intercepted to stick the ball in there.
