vs. Texas tomorrow.
Vegas Insider is listing Fortson as questionable. Is this true?

He's been practicing with the team for a while now. I'm hoping that means he'll be back on the court soon. Until then, Clarke (and maybe Powell) seems to be our only hope, especially if Washington's back issues don't get any better.
And, yes, the Baylor game was all kinds of bad. The Baylor fans behind me were shocked by how terrible we were in the 2nd half.

Arkansas has completely given up. Texas will make them pay for last year. It will get ugly.

The spread is 14.5... I think.

Then take Texas and the spread.
I am telling anyone who will listen, this team is done. Expect a change at the end of the season.
I'm hearing a lot of talk about Mike Anderson and now Scott Drew. Some think Jeff Long would be able to pull Jamie Dixon but IMHO, that is a longer shot than Arkansas beating TX tomorrow night.

Have you heard anything new lately?

There are very few teams that I wouldn't take Texas and that spread for. Texas, imo at this point in the season, is the best team in the country.

And they'll look better for playing one of the worst.

Only Arky flamer on this site.
Would you please submit where I flamed in that thread?
Ole Miss fans constantly say Nutt recruits better than Petrino. Discussing that is flaming?
So sensitive...must be worried about something.

No, I just think you ask shite just so you can say shite. Just say what you mean to say and stop baiting people into arguing with your dumb arse.

You guys do your fair share of flaming too. Remember the Petrino is overrated thread? A lot of flaming and misinformation on there, quite amusing really.
Let's look at Hootie Dale objectively for once.
He left the Razorback team with a serious lack of talent, specifically on the defensive side of the ball. We did not start a single defensive lineman this year over 300 lbs. Overall, it was a very undersized group. Part of that reason is Herring wanted small fast players and that is what they looked for.
Last year Arkansas's class was slightly better than Ole Miss's and much better than Hootie ever recruited to Arkansas. That's better than Hootie did over a 10 year period too.
To be fair, Hootie's recruited better at Ole Miss than he ever recruited at Arkansas. Part of that may be the school and part may be that Hootie's been rejuvenated or motivated by the falling out with Arkansas.
This year I expect Ole Miss to have the better class unless the new coaches can pull some rabbits out of their hats. Petrino and his staff went after some good talent and got beat out for it, IMO. No way to sugar coat it. But he is still bringing in some bigger bodies and we are developing a deeper bench than Hootie ever developed at Arkansas. Nor is Petrino going after QBs or receivers strong, which is what he recruits best.
So, who is the better recruiter, Hootie or Petrino. The common denominator being both have coached at Arkansas and so far, Petrino has out performed Hootie. Still too early to tell at this point. That's not a flame just an observation.
