LSU has a very good kicker. I'd give him a 50/50 chance.. which is far better than what we ended up with.
Chances go up nearly exponentially with every additional yard gained.. so say they get 15 instead of 10? They'd even have the option of taking a shot downfield against a team playing the short pass.
Basically.. we didn't get jobbed out of the game. We just got jobbed out of the chance to win it.

LSU does have a very good kicker, yet on that field from 40 yards or more I would only give him a 25-35% chance of making it.

DUMB play call. Should've been a pass play that would enable the receiver to get out of bounds.
Also, why didn't LSU simply use their typical fake injury ploy to stop the clock?
