A SEC hasn't lost a BCS championship game so it must be Florida vs Nebraska?

hard thing is there wasn't really a "game" that was titled the NCG before 98

UT was ranked # 3 but I doubt they would have been crowned champions even if they had beaten Nebraska...this is the year the title was split between #1 Michigan and #2 Nebraska...So I don't know if this could be considered and SEC loss as far as championships go...

There were plenty of games called the "National Championship Game" but these are the only matchups of 1 vs 2.

AP 1 vs 2
