Where can we get a traditonal New Years day meal in NOLA before the game. Looking for black eyed peas or hoppin' john, collard or mustard greens, etc. Does not have to be in the quarter as we have vehicles.

the best cuisine in the world, and yet you want to eat some

Mister B's or Dickie Brennans should have some version of a new years day menu. I would consider one of the 24 restraunts that are still doing the holiday Reveillion Menus. Google that and New Orleans, you can't do much better. Also if you are set on the standard working class meal of collards, ham-hocks/type menu then hit The Praline Connection - pretty good, two locations, Tchoupitoulas or Frenchmen Streets. If you go to Mother's prepare to stand in line, probably with people from Cincinatti.

Just go to the St. Bernard Projects and knock on any door.
