So the consensus is that it would be better if the Indy Bowl folded?

I don't think the city of Shreveport would agree with you on that. The bowl game was well-attended even for a highschool-sized stadium and it seems to be a pretty good game every year. No other games on that compete with it. I'd hate to see it fold if only because it's a Louisiana city.

I just don't get the disdain South Louisiana has for Shreveport. I've lived in both parts of the state and can appreciate both areas.

the houston bowl will take the Indy bowls spot starting next year.

Thanks...My sentiments exactly...Except 60,000 would be a very large High School stadium...
