Saban will be the only coach to have two national championships from different schools. That's not an elite club, that's saban's own personal club. Numero uno.

More National Championships than any other, more bowl games than any other, the greatest collge coach of all time made his name there etc etc. Alabama is the top school in the top conference in college football. Hard to find something to match that.

Elite meaning he's only mentioned among a few other greats... That doesn't mean you have to have the same accomplishments
