I would like to ask for Prayers for him and his family.

As a Gator fan I am shocked, sad, and speechless.

Me too, gatorprincess.....our conference lost a damn good head coach who made the conference better.......this certainly has been a tough season for the Gator nation regarding health.

As connected as you are, how did this not get out before?

He has a cyst and people in the know say it was a mild stroke. So all could be true.

I talked to AJ Jones for over an hour last night and he was talking about the plans coach had for next year. He sent me an email and said that the team is devastated and more worried about his health than a bowl game.

The whole situation is terrible. I hope he and his family are going to be okay. Do you have any idea how long he has known about it?

I haven't heard, things are crazy. This came out of the blue. The guys on the team are crushed. I was told there were lots of tears.

I am pretty heartbroken. I used to sit at every practice and talk to his wife Shelly and Peter Tebow. I feel like something happened to one of my friends.

No. I will bet the farm on the Gators. You know Timmy is gonna give the team that "Win one for the Urban" speech.

In this case, against all my cynicism, I think it works.

This really surprised me. Even though I dislike Florida, he's always been one of my favorite coaches. I hope this isn't as serious as some of the rumors going around. Prayers sent to him and his family.

It did but c'mon, as far as we know it's not life-threatening is it?
