Florida still has 5,000 tickets unsold for the sugar bowl.
1. Florida fans are bad fans for not going to support their team in a BCS BOWL
2. Florida fans are idiots for not taking any excuse to go to one of the great cities of the world: New Orleans
Ole Miss fans are going to show up at the Cotton bowl in what is most likely our programs most disappointing season ever.
Florida has 500,000 boosters. We might have 50k.
Florida is going to have less people show up for the Sugar bowl than LSU had show up for the Peach Bowl last year.
K. I'm done.
ETA: Sugar Bowl sales, not too sweet

All Florida Fans have already become Miami fans. They just switch amongst whoever is tops in the State. And after The U went on air Florida's fanbase died.

Losing all of your SEC games a few years ago wasn't the "most disappointing season ever"???

3. Florida gained thousands of bandwagon fans over the last 4 years and a lot of them jumped off around 7pm on December 5th.

1987 preseason ranked in top 20 finished 3-8

it was National Championship or bust this year for them

I can totally understand that.
Why in the chocolate JESUS.... would Florida care about the Sugar (kiss your sister) Bowl, when they thought that they'd be playing in the National Championship?
(See Alabama in the Sugar Bowl last season when they didn't give a shite either)
It would not surprise me if Florida loses.... out of apathy.

Ole Miss fans were hoping for 6 wins at most. It was just another year for Orgeron. He'd only won a combined 3 SEC games in the two years prior. Not like we were expecting to win.
This year most of us expect 10. Alot of us considered Atlanta a probablity. With one game left all we had to do was beat Mississippi State and most fans would have enjoyed an awesome season.
We just couldn't win on the road this year.

the thought of Ole Miss ever running out of the tunnel of the SECCG makes me LOL

Ole Miss fans were expecting no worse than second in the West this year.
All we had to do was beat state.
That was a tall order, though.

They were all Jacksonville Jags fans too, they got off that bandwagon quick too.
I have to say though, if I resided in Florida, there would be a lot more distractions than in Baton Rouge LA or Oxford MS

Depends on where you lived in florida. (I certainly don't play a trip to destin in december)
Most of Florida has significantly less to do than BR or Oxford.
If you lived in South Florida or a city like Orlando or St. Pete, or Tampa. I understand.
There isn't shite to do in Jacksonville in January.
There's no excuse for not selling out the Sugar Bowl.

Florida getting steamrolled would not surprise me one bit. I'd say it's a tad bit less likely now that Cincy has the distraction of losing their coach. But I would not be surprised if Saint Timmy couldn't rally the troops one last time for a game they don't want to be in.

Me neither.
It would end Tebow's career exactly the way it should end, too.

they lost to Michigan in 07 coming off a NC year
Cincinnati has looked better most of the year... if the team in question wasn't named Florida I think they would be a clear dog

Cincy's defense sucks. There is no way that team would ever be favored over this Gator team.

I swear the state of florida is just like a merry go round with the 3 teams. Miami is awesome, then FSU, and now Florida.
