Do Texas fans really compare wins over OU and Nebraska to Bama's wins over Va Tech, LSU, and UF?

I understand anything can happen in a 1 game playoff, but I don't see how you could consider Texas an equal to Bama given their body of work.

I realize the Aggie's have a top 10 passing attack that bombed you guys, but so did Mallet and look what Bama did to him.

Bama had some down games, but they never had close to the defensive breakdown UT had against A&M.

Nor did our offense ever perform as bad as you guys did vs. Nebraska (and we played tougher offenses and defenses).

my main concern is mccoy being able to throw in front of the receivers on short passes. our secondary is fantastic on any pass they can get underneath, but mccoy is an amazing qb... and i'm pretty positive he's in the 70%'s when around the 15 yard range.

*edit* without reading any posts before mine... i just thought it would be appropriate to say how much the thread topic made me start thinking of secondaries... and so i started thinking about my main fear... and so i voiced it. so what! wanna fight about it?
