BAMA SEC Champs the norm

Maybe it has already been stated, but if so I'll say it again. BAMA is the only school in the SEC that has won at least one conference championship in every decade of the leagues existence. This is an indicator of several things. First it shows what tradition is at BAMA. Being a champion. Second it shows that when BAMA is down, BAMA does'nt stay down for long. We always get off of the mat and score a knockout. Winning championships is who we are by definition. Alot of schools tell themselves that they are elite programs, and some may be in recent history. But for the entire history of a schools program, BAMA is the only school that has the stats and wins to back it up.

While I agree with your post.. I don't think us winning SEC championships is the "norm" at this time. We have won 3 in the last 17 years.. 3 out of 17 isn't exactly the norm.
But I do think that this win was the step that will cause it to be the norm again soon.

In terms of the history of the league, I think it is. I do agree in the last 17 years not the norm but in terms of history you can't argue with facts. That was the point of the OP.
