LSU vs Bama fans - a new perspective...

i have been to many games both @ LSU and Bama and i was at the game on sat...
every school has their fair share of crap fans who are obnoxious but as a whole Bama fans are pretty bad...they talk about all their national championships and all so why cant they act like they have been here before...before the game they were pretty tame but after as i expected the shite talk would come but not to the level my gf and i received...we were surrounded by a group of their fans being taunted as we were just walking trying to get back to our car...i expected a couple rammer jammmer crap taunts but to get in my face and my gfs saying F the gators yall suck and trying to start a fight is not classy..im amazed how they kept their bama bangs in perfect position i guess they must use a lot of aqua net..
LSU fans on the other hand i can respect...they know that both teams left it on the field and can appreciate the hard play from both teams...i usually hear/or say back good game good luck the rest of the way...
this will be the first time ill root for a non sec team in the championship and i cant wait till the order is restored in the SEC next year...and as the LSU fans have treated me in the past prior to games my tailgate will be open to them next year...

If this truly happened and it was unprovoked, it sux. But every base has them and to make out that every Bama fan this way is pretty disengenuous. Most times though, you get treated in relation to how you act and this could also be a case of that. Either way, I dunno and the generalization that all of us are that way is kinda dumb.

I've always enjoyed interacting with all fanbases. All have a few jerks, but most are just fans and its all fun if you don't get your feelings wrapped up in another fan's pride in his own team.
HOWEVER, I do think the "we just beat the hell out of you" thing is pretty classless. Its over soon enough, so I don't hold grudges over it.

if we were in a big group and talking shite back fine rip into us....i had already accepted defeat and it was just the two of us walking minding our own business...and yes every group has their bad seeds but when my gf who gets scared shitless and grips onto my arm with a death clutch and looks at me and all i can see is her mouthing i love you...dont do anything stupid..who honestly can say they arent gonna get mad...
in my eyes Bama fans are now in the same group as those stupid dawgs...everyone hears about the WLOCP stories, never in my life would i have expected to experience something like that

This is what Colin Peek's dad said about Florida last year. He said he was disgusted with Florida fans. Same sort of thing has happened to me in the Swamp. We all have bad fans.

This is why you hear Bama fans posting here about how bad LSU fans are. We simply take the necessary precautions before game day to pre-empt behavior like this. Piss balloons-check. Port-a-potty external locking device-check. Eveready D battery pack-check. If you fail to plan then simply plan on failing.

I went to BDS in '07. LSU wins the game and I am welcomed into a coupla frat houses (before the game) for dinner and then welcomed into the home of a Bama fan (after the game) and given drink and food and treated very well.
I guess I treat opponent fans like I'm grocery shopping. I don't expect all of the "food" to appeal to me. I load my cart with the stuff I like and just pass on down the aisle of the stuff I don't.
I don't get upset and tell the store manager that he has lousy food on Aisle 7 and that the rest of his grocery is horrible because of it.

The fact that you have resorted to using sweeping generalizations of a whole fan base because of one incident makes me wish someone would have at least hit you with a piss bomb.
