look up the % of 50 yard field goals on the road in the SEC since 2000.
What are the chances of making a 50 yarder vs a 35 yarder? What are the chances the fanbase just can't ACCEPT THE FACT THAT the coach played it conservative settling for a 50 yarder when he could have completed a pass?

Didn't lsu kick a 50 yard field goal earlier in the game? On a side note, the word "philosophical" is not allowed on the sec rant.
