I really have a problem with Alabama's fan base after the way I was treated in Tuscaloosa. Some of my friends from there constantly apologize. Plus I sad if they start acting like a-hole then I would do something, otherwise I would be happy to by anyone a beer.

Well, it is a rivalry. I've been treated like shite in Auburn on a couple occasions. I kind of expect it though.

Ryan Pugh should quit the team before the game. He will undoubtedly attempt to take out one of our players. If he succeeds, I hope a UT player robs him.

Auburn has a decent offense but Bama should pretty much shut them down. The Tiger's don't seem to have much quality depth on defense so I look for Saban to pound the rock and by the 4th quarter Auburn's defense will be pretty much out of gas.

Auburn could beat Bama this year but would have to play a near perfect game. I think Bama wins by 14

I have been to events associated with a rivalry, there is no justification for what happened to me while I was in Tuscaloosa.

Better shot than last year.
About the same shot as we had in 1972 and bama had of beating us in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.

Read this on an AU board-

AU is 5 - 19 against Alabama when Alabama has 10 wins.

AU is 0 - 13 when Alabama has 11 wins or more.

Skewed #'s because I know off the top of my head that Bama was undefeated in 1972 during the Punt Bama Punt game. Also Auburn beat an undefeated Bama in 1989, the first Iron Bowl played in Auburn.

Iron Bowl
Does anybody think that Auburn has a legit shot of beating Bama.. I think that they do. It always seems that Auburn plays its best game against Bama. Since Auburn has nothing to lose, they could open up the playbook and try some things that they have never tried before. I wouldn't be supprised at all if Auburn came away with a "W" in this game..

The only chance auburn has THIS season against Bama is this years auburn team may actually score some points.
As you're aware (or not) Bama has YET to play a complete game.

I am usually not a hothead, I bought Ole Miss guys beers this year. I just had an awful time in Tuscaloosa and Bama fans tend to rub me the wrong way.

The 1972 and 1989 Auburn teams would be 10+ point favorites over the 2009 Auburn team.

That said the off week will really help Auburn. It gives you a much needed rest and chance to heal up.

Unfortunately, I think Auburn's only chance of upsetting Bama would be if we got at least 14 points from the Special Teams and/or defense. And if Bama's coaches somehow overlook the fact that Neiko Thorpe is frikking horrible and could get burned by the little guy on ya'lls sideline.

IMO, Auburn is screwed! This game won't be as good as LSU/Arkansas
