Should he speak out and trash the officials from Saturday and get a $30,000 fine and or suspension? We might be better off since we play La Tech. Hell, I would like to see some sort of emotion from him rather than a blank stare

That is also why like Urban Meyer. He doesn't give a shite. Nobody is going to get away with that with him. I respect that from him

Regardless of the fine he will undoubtedly get, he should say something...

The refs really botched this whole game.

Hell, the only reason JJ scored on that long play was a horrible block in the back on Taylor.

Yes.

His team deserves to have their coach fight for them after all they gave on saturday.

$30,000? You guys can take care of that with the snap of a finger.

The $30,000 he has to pay and another coach bitching about the officials is enough. That $30,000 is good advertisment for the cause since everyone will talk about it all over again

I disagree. The DB took the wrong angle and JJ blew by him. And from other replays with different angles, the OL did not push the DB from behind. He started to but pulled back.
My question is why have a backup covering JJ in the 1st place. It was obvious that #7 was going to cover JJ no matter where he lined up. Seeing as how #7 was thier best cover guy, why not roll your #2 cover guy to cover JJ instead of a back-up?
This is why I love Chavis. He hasn't changed since his coaching days at Alabama A&M.

he definately should. needs to stand up for his team. they played their hearts out and should have had the chance. i would personnally like to give the replay ref a free eye exam, cuz obviously he needs one! refs should be rotated around the country from conference. one more reason for a playoff!

Meyer didn't call out the officials. he was just answering a question on the SEC con call about a missed late hit.

This sounds like Bobby Knight. We need more of these coaches.

Umm yeah he blocked him in the back no doubt...both of his hands were on the back of the defender sorry but thats a block in the back. You really cant defend it....

But i remember all the LSU fans telling all the Arky fans after the UF-Arky game to get over it with all the bad calls. Well this is now what LSU fans need to do.

But at the same time Bama fans shouldnt try to back that it was a good no call, just like how no UF fans were saying that the PF was a good call against Arky. In a time like this just realize you caught a break and keep your mouth shut about it

You mean in regards to how his poor coaching was illustrated by the number of illegal procedure penalties that killed LSU drives in the first half.
