What team gave Bama the nickname Gumps?

We know Auburn gave us the corndog nickname. Was it LSU or Auburn that gave Bama the Gumps nickname.? Or maybe they gave themselves the nickname after the movie.

I love how they had to tell him to STOP so he wouldn't run in the tunnel. The best was when he told JFK he had to pee.

that's ok... the whole corndog thing was a surprise to me when i started reading message boards
with all the tailgating at LSU and all the different foods they eat down in LA? They talk about a food item I rarely see anywhere
