I dont think they would have done any better than Nutt. The Ole Miss job is what it is.

the same place they have been for 3 decades

They would still be a perenial 6-6 program with beating MSU being the closest thing to a championship they could possibly sniff.

No one wants to attend school in Mississppi.. Thus the talent level is low.

The better ones often leave the state for other SEC programs, and a lot of the rest never qualifies. A lot of things stacked against Ole Miss and Miss State, in terms of in-state recruiting.

I agree. Ole Miss is just second rate in the SEC and always will be.

The cellar of the SEC west with Orgeron
In a similar but crappier position with Cut.

And that is not knocking the colleges in Mississippi, the public schools in Mississippi are just terrible.

Same place where they are now. It's a culture of losing and medicrity.

We would have played one less game?
Or had to forfeit a win because Coach O had sex with a goat on the field?

5-3, 4-3, 4-4, does not really matter.

Their fans would be talking about how many games are on their schedule that are actually winnable before the season starts, rather than losable (although they don't seem to be too good at identifying their losable games).

I could dig up posts I've made all year about this game. I expected to lose to Auburn and Bama.
I thought we would beat SC. If we don't lose any more, I made some damn good picks.

I disagree, Nutt is what he is . .Tuberville without the undefeated and 11 win seasons.
The best you will get with Nutt is about a 11-2 or 10-3 type season.
Coach O was horrible, horrible . . he should never have a head coaching job that is not above the pop warner level.
Cutcliffe wasn't anything without Eli same way Fulmer struggled without Manning and Martin.

Yeah a guy who had pretty much most the same talent Nutt had went 0-8 in the SEC. Get the frick out.
