I give him props for coming out and talking about it, most would just hide until they started playing better. He is a good player, but the expectations are just out of control in Oxford right now.

Really? We have at least 4 defensive linemen that will likely play in the NFL.
Our linebacking corps consists of pure blue-chip talent.
And all these players are experienced, most of them being seniors.
On offense, we have a quarterback who NFL scouts were drooling over at the end of last season, a senior playmaker in McCluster, a strong stable of running backs and receivers, again, all with experience and most of them seniors......
And it is unrealistic to expect to score more than 10 points on South Carolina and 3 on Alabama on our home field?
