Is Julio still better than A. J. Green?

Haven't heard the bammers spewing that lately.

Julio would kick AJ's arse.

I am not sure if you have watched any Alabama games this, but I have not watched much of UGA. But because of his presence other players are getting freed up to make plays. Either that will continue to happen or coverages will be split more evenly between our receivers and Julio will make big plays.
JPW relied more heavily on Julio than Greg is and it is most likely the reason our offense is much more explosive this year. I personally would not trade Julio for AJ and I bet you would not do the opposite.

I don't think you can go wrong with either.

They're busy working on their McElroy for Heisman campaign.

Julio is much better then Green. Sure, Green may have better stats and more production, but that is meaningless. It's just obvious Julio is better.

I agree Julio is more hyped. Stats and production don't matter anymore ok.

They don't matter to Bama fans.
ETA: Actually they do matter, but only when it favors their argument. Right now, it's just obvious Julio is better then Green regardless of stats and offensive production.

"They're Too Busy with their McElroy for Heisman Campaign"
Wrong. You'll never see any of our players being exalted for a Heisman nor any other awards. We teach "The Team" Not "The Individual" never have never will.

AJ is more like Randy Moss. Julio is like Terrell Owens. Can't go wrong with either.

It's being talked up by Jay Barker right now.

this is the better comment of this little rant banter. but, LSU is playing against Green this week and I think that needs to be their focus. otherwise, it is nothing but conjecture!

AJ Green is better on the field. Julio is better off the field (Escalades, interwebs fame, fan hype, boat trips etc).

Green>Jones...That pains me to say.

Julio is not in a position to get big numbers. Teams load the box to stop the run against us, but still give extra attention to Julio and thus the other receivers on the team get incredibly good match ups. Why force it to Julio? Julio has proven to be a team first player and never complains. We are winning and are 16-2 since he arrived including a win over UGA at UGA. We were 13-13 the two years before he arrived. He has made a huge difference in our offense.
Why should we care about his stats(he does not)? Should he be faulted that our qb is not making risky passes to him when other players are open? And we are winning.

Co-sign. Pains me even more that he is not a Gamecock seeing as how he is from South Cackalacky, but he is a lifelong Georgia fan.

My homerism won't allow me to just come out and say "AJ is better." But, I can say that right now he is better.
Kinda like I don't know if Bama will be the best team in the SEC at the end of the year, but right now they are.
I will say that it also seems like GMac is going out of his way to throw it to other receivers for some reason. It's worked out good so far but I'd like to see JJ get the ball more.
