doesnt win any hardware in the next two years would you consider it a flop? and what would that do to his stock as a premier coach when he takes the recruiting classes hes had and dont win anything....personally i dont see people wanting to pay a god like salary to a midget with mediocre credentials but im sure the bammers think he will be worth every penny

Just a reminder of the last one you had, since you won't even have that for several years to come.

hes been a head coach a total of two years...if he can match sabans first year at gumpville im assuming we will bump his salary by about 3 mill a year.

I'd say he's producing. Winning the West in his second year. Beating your candy arse 36-0. A #1 ranking in that same year. #3 currently and being dubbed as the best in the nation by many.

The titles will come. Just like the recruits did when you dolts said they wouldn't. Just like the wins over Tennessee, LSU, and Auburn did when you dolts said they wouldn't.

Saban and Alabama will be fine. If you didn't have your head shoved squared up your arse, you'd see that.

to be the first to take your horrible thread seriously... no, i wouldn't consider it a flop in any conceivable way. bottom line, there are too many variables that go into every football game to win them all. bottom line, we have one of the best coaches in college football, if not THE best... and if we don't get "hardware" in 2 years, i would still want to keep Saban until Saban wanted to leave.

And you should know better than to think Bama isn't gonna have several ten win season's with the recruiting we've had. Hell, if Shula and Dubose can shake out 10 wins... I expect we'll have several under his tenure. Especially since we lead the nation with the most 10 win seasons in total.

I think there are so many factors that go into winning a NC these days that as long as he continues to put a good product on the field the fans will be happy. There are so many good teams to day that winning a NC is not a given for anybody. For exampl, I don't think any team will go through the SEC this year undefeated.
