Much like the RB thread, reserved for graduated/non-active SEC wideouts.
My Top 15 of 2000-2008 (based not on stats alone):
1. Sidney Rice South Carolina
2. Kelly Washington Tennessee
3. Josh Reed LSU
4. Percy Harvin Florida
5. Dwayne Bowe LSU
6. Michael Clayton LSU
7. Jabar Gaffney Florida
8. Earl Bennett Vanderbilt
9. Reche Caldwell Florida
10. Marcus Monk Arkansas
11. Early Doucet LSU
12. Donte Stallworth Tennessee
13. Craig Davis LSU
14. Chris Collins Ole Miss
15. Courtney Taylor Auburn

I like the RB thread more
FWIW, I'd put Bennett a little higher.

Sidney Rice is the SEC's top WR this decade?

I sure thought so...potential wise he had all the intangibles. He played for SC and rarely had a good qb. I think had he played at UF, he would have been awesome.

Sidney Rice only played 2 seasons
although in those 2 seasons he had
142 Receptions
2,233 Yards
23 Touchdowns

Terrence Edwards and Fred Gibson maybe?
Of course Edwards had a lot of drops in key situations.

Still started 4 years as did Fred. But Fred was a "basketball" player.

Josh reed over Sydney rice. Reed was amazing player. Protho was a good one too but Josh reed is my number one.

Who the hell is this guy? I've watch SEC football religously since 1999 and have never heard of him.

A bad arse reciever and first round draft pick. Although he hasn't done shite in the NFL

I realize I am no great judge but I have always liked Clayton better than Reed, but the only game to me that is freash in my memory is the game I quit watching because I was so disgusted when he caught everything thrown to him against my Tide. Clayton sticks out more to me.

He was drafted by the chargers late in the first round. Had a breakout senior year in 2006. He was overshadowed by bowe ad doucet that year at lsu but very physical, blocking, route runner similar to Brandon lafell at lsu. 13 is about where I would put him. Saban recruited him whereas he wasn't highly sought after. That's what I have heard.

Are you serious? He played in the 2000's? Was he just one of those players that had a lot of talent in college but just never did anything? Seriously, I recognized every name on that list immediately except for his.
