These guys think they are some kind of traditional power in college football. Bama fans may be wacko themselves, but at least their school really is one of the historical elite.

TN is the most delusional. Bama can apparently at least back their crap up.

I'm trying to figure out where you are hearing this? There are your typical delusional fans... of course. But the majority of Hog fans do not feel we are a traditional power by any means.
Do we feel we will make some noise in the future? Absolutely.

just from my experience living in Little Rock. Everyone there seemed to think Arkansas was on the same level as a Texas or LSU.

Arkansas has never mattered, and it was a mistake to add them and not someone else to the SEC. They have a losing SEC record, and they blame it on the fact that they "weren't ready for the move." It's 17 years later, and they STILL aren't!

say what you want, but 800 wins, 8 legit NCs, like 20 SEC Titles.....can't really argue their place in history.

They said this in these words? If so, you are talking to the uninformed.

Dumbest thread ever.
Outside of believing we are a top 20-25 program, show me where a Hog fan has said anything else.
And this is retarded. The SWC was a very good conference. You are obviously too ignorant to understand that, but that's your fault, not anyone else's.

Not arguing with their place in history. I am arguing in their place now. They think they are the shite because of things that happened when 1/2 of them weren't old enough to understand football. All they do is remember the good ole days

In 17 years we have won or tied the West 4 times. That's once every 4.25.
We've gone from some of the most laughable facilities in the country to the cream of the crop.
According to Forbes we are the #15 Most Valuable Football Program in America.
According to CFBDatawarehouse and SI, we are the #23 and and #25 All-Time Football program.
We only have one NC but 37 Bowls, 10 of which have come since joining the SEC.
We are 7th in overall wins since joining the SEC, behind LSU at #6, but obviously that does not speak of quality of win.
We've been in the Top 5 and Top 10 numerous times since joining the SEC, with the highest marker at #3.
Are we elite? Of course not. But we damn sure more than hold our own and have transitioned into SEC football with far greater success than USC.
