Yeah, like the first part of my post when I said throwing on 1st and 2nd.

AH, roger. So you think it's a good idea to run on 1st and 2nd every series, to open up the pass on 3rd? Yeeeeeaaaaah, I'm just not sure about that right now. You sure your not a Hawg fan?

I'd prefer that our coach stick with what got us here and continue to trust his all-star QB with what ever strategy works.

For the record, I was talking about entire game strategery and you were talking about series strategery. Either way, my point is that just because JS was having a bad half (really, only a bad 2nd qtr) doesn't mean that you panic and change your gameplan. Nutt/Austin kept putting the ball in Jevans hands and he eventually came around. That's what they SHOULD have done.

No, i was thinking you run on first and/or 2nd trying to create a short yardage situation for 3rd since you were doing good on the ground. That will give you more options than 2 incomplete passes so you're 3rd and long and memphis expecting what's coming. It also helps with time of possesion.

No he was having a bad game period till it was out of hand for Memphis. Sometimes you do have to change your gameplan. It's called adjustments.

Jevan didnt' come around until it was garbage time. One example i can think of was the TD pass to dexter. They were in man expecting you to run out the clock.
