woopiginaustin, you are really not being logical about it.

The first thing to point out is that when Malzhan was at Arkansas he recruited Kodi burns to AR. Malzhan thought Burns could run a spread offense in the SEC. He said on local radio when he got to Auburn Burns could run his offense. After the spring he wasn't saying that and low and behold Burns is not the QB anymore. Last years Burns was one of the most inaccurate passers the SEC has every seen.

So, Malzhan has already shown no ability to; a.) evaluate a qb for his system in the SEC or b.) develop the same qb he tried to recruit 3 years ago as an SEC qb. So, essentially you have your first big sign that Malzhan is in over his head. A guy he was so high on in highschool has already played in a spread and failed miserably

His awards at Tulsa mean nothing b/c that conference is not equiped to stop offense. He wanted a taste at the big time and he's got it and he will fail.

Furthermore, his Hurry up no Huddle approach can very easily work against him like it did against Houston last year. If a defense wants a rest from it all they have to do is send someone to the turf grabbing his foot for a few seconds. East Carolina did that a few times in that conference title game and the guy who limped off was back in the game 2 plays later.

Malzhan has also only won with his QB working out of the shot gun, all his life. It's pretty common knowledge that SEC teams are going to have to work QB under center to be successful. I've never heard of a coach who was 100% shotgun being a good pro-style, under center coach such as a Bob Petrino. I've seen alot of confusion in teams that work exclusively out of the shotgun when differnet defenses players are show blitz. sometimes you get 2 guys showin, sometimes 3 sometimes 1 comes sometimes both sometimes none sometimes 3 and they can come from all different directions. they can move up back all around and when Herring did that to Malzhan on the practice field in 2006 Malzhan had absoletly no chance.

Long and short of it is, come off your Malzhan high-horse. The guy is a fraud that won't win in the SEC.

WRT another shining example for all to see what a fricking idiot you are.

1 year before Malzahn and under Nutt's great coaching - 4 wins.

With Malzahn and essentially the same players, although handicapped and undermined greatly by the head arse Clown and the arse Clown Posse - 10 WINS!

Thanks for keeping up your reputation as an uninformed, arse-wipe NuttHugger.
