This USC trash talking is without merit.

What was the last SEC team to beat USC? USC is the premiere program of the 00's. Since 2003, USC could have been "game" for any NC title shot. No other program can claim that.

If you just want to spew hatred toward USC, that is clearly your right. But to say that they are/were inferior to OSU or OU (NC opponents) is ludicrous. The PAC10 was 5-0 in bowl games.

USC's tough OOC opponent: Ohio State
LSU's tough OOC opponent: Washington

I am no USC fanboy - I do not even like them - I just do not lie to myself.

I do, however, have a mild man crush on this guy:

USC was proclaimed by media to be the best college team ever in 2004(Pete Carrol also admitted is was the best he ever had). That was promptly before Texas beat them in their own back yard. That was their "dynasty" team going for the three peat even though LSU won the BCS the previous year. Until the Pac 10 ends its deal with the Rose bowl and starts sending their only team that would have a winning record in the Big 12, SEC or maybe ACC to another bowl I guess we'll never know. USc pasted OSU; so what, the big 11 might be more overrated then the PAC1.

As for USC could have been game for any NC shot. You're right all they had to do was beat Stanford; not in swimming or golf but on their own football field. The following year if I'm not mistaken the Beavers beat them... Maybe this will be the year when USC finally plays a good team in January.

Totally irrelevant. All that matters is if you win the game, which you have to be in in the first place. USC, for all of it's "dominance", has 1 BCS Title, not to mention a loss to Stanford. I, and I'm sure LSU fans feel the same way, will take our 2 BCS trophies and USC can keep the "most dominant team of the decade" title.

Oh, and LSU's tough OOC opponent is nothing more than an in-conference game for USC, so that doesn't really help things.
