this coming football season i'm going to make my first $100 bet that at the end of the Florida vs. Tennessee game, UT has a big, fat goose egg left on the score board. UF 42 - UT 0. Sorry Vol fans. blame it on the jet engine fuel your coach is using to pour into Tebow and the Gator Defense. maybe after an A$$ woopin' he'll learn how to be a REAL, gentlemanly, SEC head coach.

Our 3rd team D might let them score because they feel sorry for them.

This aint Phillip Fulmer coaching the Vols anymore this is a totally different team. Now we probably wont win the game in Gainesville but I guarantee it will be within two touchdowns.

What time DO you guys start hittin' the corn squeezins up there???

lmao pretty early there aint much to do up here in the mountains. I just think everyone is saying we are gonna get killed when this is actually not that bad it was the coaching that killed us last year. If you look at our roster we have talent everywhere, but Fulmer just pissed it away.

I know this is going to sound mean, but WTF are you talking about, talent everywhere?
Let's just start with the QB and WR issues.
Unless Happy Feet 2 has the light come on you guys are in serious trouble. Even if the light does come on, who is left to catch the ball?
We can go to OL and the defense later.

Even though Crompton was horrible last year, I think it was more of the system they had in place. Not one of the players was comfortable in and it showed in games. If you look at how he played in 06 against LSU you will see that the kid has talent, and I think he will get the job done this year. Crompton is not a great QB by any stretch but better than he showed last year. With the receivers we have Gerald Jones, Quinton Hancock, and Denarius Moore coming back. I also think Nuke and Teague will get a lot of playing time this year and will provide a spark. This staff is easily in my opinion the best assembled staff in the country and they will get more out of these kids than they have showed in the past. I know Im flaming a little bit but I have to have something to get excited about this year even if we aren't on the Gators level yet

Considering that you scored 6 points last year in your home stadium with a better OL and better receivers. I just don't see what it is that you see that makes you think you will score this year. A set of freshman running backs aren't going to do anything with no one to block for them. The six points you scored last year even came against our 2nd or third team defense. If you guys DO score, I expect it to come late in the game against our backups.

I appreciate your enthusiasm.
I'm not sold on the best staff ever assembled mantra though.

Considering Tennessee has been shut out once in the last 25 years, I'll take the odds that they will AT LEAST put points on the board. It will be ugly though...but I don't see ANY team coming within 2 TDs of UF this year, much less Tennessee. I would gladly take last years score and consider it a moral victory.

Which offense outgained the other in last years game? That would be Tennessee's. If we can avoid turning the ball over a bunch of times in their territory like we did last year, it can be a close game.
A really hope you guys actually think this is going to be the big time annihilation you seem to think it will be. If so, I have a feeling you are going to be in for the rude awakening that you think we're in for.
