The pro draft especially wants the pitchers because the colleges use up pitchers' arm before they even get to the pros (look at what Bianco did to Pomeranz over the last several weeks - think McDonald at LSU). If more of the really good pitchers choose college over pro, there would be pitchers enough so they don't get used and abused. Plus - I love college baseball. I could give a rip about MBL baseball.
