I'm just wondering how the new rule affects this policy. Can only 28 sign a Letter of Intent on NSD? I know the early enrollees will already be in classes, but don't they actually not sign until their repsective class signs on NSD?

Yes, this is true. However, the NCAA recognizes early enrollees as counting towards the previous class when counting towards the 25 per year limit. A couple people in the know around the SEC have stated that the "count back" rule will still be in effect, which makes perfect sense. The coaches wouldn't have allowed the rule to go in place had it negatively impacted their teams in this way. If the NCAA recognizes the early enrollees as counting towards the previous class, how could the SEC not?
