I am not flaming, but I am thinking Bama, look at what happened when we had a new QB with a decent line last year.

Very true. The situation of breaking in a new QB worries me as does the new O-Line.

We could be a bust...or McElroy could do for us what Tee Martin did for UT after Peyton left. We won't know until Greg starts and we see how he plays.

The difference between that Tennessee team and this alabama team is that 1. Tee Martin had it looks like all returning linemen. He didn't have new guys like McElroy does this year. That will be hard for a new QB with new OL to play in the SEC. Especially with them being the SEC West champions and going undefeated. They will have a target on their backs from other sec west teams.
2. Tennessee had travis henry and peerless price. McElroy only has julio jones this year. He does have some good running backs, but they are freshmen. Tee had a senior in price and an all-sec running back in henry. 3. THe off-field issues like this violation will do nothing but hurt them. The fact that alabama has new looks at line and qb and running back tells me that this offense will not have an easy time scoring points. Although i think they will do good this next year. I can't see them winning more than 8 games.
