watch how auburn fans constantly worry with Alabama fans and what they do.

if you guys weren't concerned with your program's future right now you wouldn't be so worried about what Bama fans haven't even done yet.

If u dont need him, why did Saban offer him a scholly?

Like i said, bama fans will just say 'we didnt want him anyway' nevermind the fact Saban offered him a scholly.

Athletic linebacker, will be a good pickup for Auburn... but he is not highly ranked by the recruiting services - and you don't have to like it, but he was not a priority for Saban. AuburnCPA's bet about beating Bama in the team recruiting rankings is slowly going down the drain for him - even though he's not here to take his medicine.

There's a HUGE difference between offering someone a scholarship and recruiting them.

Looks like Auburn will be getting a top 10 player in the state of Alabama. Based on his offers, he will end up being a 4*.

Only Auburnsports.com is covering the announcement so there goes the secret. He was also with Chizik all weekend during the passing camps.

Good pickup for Auburn.

Simple question, if bama didnt want him or dont need him, why was he offered a scholly?

Negative. Every Bama fan I talked to was pumped about Bobby Massie. Totally shocked when he picked Ole Miss - especially since he didn't mention Ole Miss as a favorite a single time in all of his pre-signing day interviews... and then BAM! He throws the Bama hat off his head and picks Ole Miss. We were shocked, to say the least, but of course we wanted him.

We've offered scholarships to dozens of individuals. Do you think we're recruiting them all the same, or would you venture to say that we have "prioritized" the list? Next question, do you think Jawara was a priority for Saban?

Wasn't there a thread on here some time last week where Tennessee had offered something like +175 scholly's already this year?

Offering a scholarship at this point is very common. The coaches will accept commitments based on their own priority list. Who knows where White falls on Saban's list right now?
