Apparently Auburn was serious about Hood at one point.

WTF!, we backed off of him though just like everyone else. You should have seen the bunker when we were told he was visiting.

I know it's crazy. I got that pic out of the "isn't Hood a must" thread. I just made a thread on it. Pretty revealing about what Tenn fans thought then as opposed to what they are saying now.

Shows you the morals they have up there. You think Tommy Tuberville or Gene Chizik would recruit this guy? Hell no! And I'm proud of it!

Your midget coach is one of the people who tried to recruit Noel Devine's thug arse a couple of years ago, so I am not sure you have much room to talk on this subject. Here is a quote that shows some of the things Noel Devine was doing during his high school career
quote:Taking someone's car without their permission would normally be classified as grand theft auto, which is a felony. Luckily for Noel Devine, Deion Sanders did not press charges against him
Devine had moved in with Sanders and his family in Prosper, Texas, 18 months ago. A day before reporting for practice at Prosper High, he took the Cadillac Escalade of Sanders' wife, drove it to DFW Airport and flew back to Fort Myers.
Left the keys in the car. Nice guy.
"We were really in a state of shock," Sanders told the Fort Myers News-Press. "We couldn't believe it. I wish we saw a sign but there was nothing. ... Some people don't want to be helped."

Luckily for the Rant, there is only one of your dumbass running around as the village idiot. Taking the car of the person you are living with to the airport and leaving town and taking part in a sexual assault are on two completely different levels, and you know it.
WEAK, WEAK, WEAK flame attempt. I've been trying to defend the actions of UT and their allowing him to play for the last two days, but comparing Devine's shenanigans to Hood's situation is ridiculous.

Are you serious? Comparing a stolen Escalade to the violation of a 14 year old girl with a plunger.
Go spew that shite on VN

After arriving on West Virginia's campus, Noel Devine was also arrested for assault

BTW, Sander's was acting as Devine's father. He was the one going around and trying to help Devine find the right school for him. Sander's even mentioned how great Saban would be for Noel as mentor. So, I think a

OK CC, you have changed my mind. Anyone can come to my house and do what they wish to my 14 year old daughter. Just don't do anything really bad like driving my truck off to the airport and leaving it. Daughters come and go, but Escalades are forever.

"This is how big that plunger was!"

I never said that what Daniel Hood did was not a big deal, but taking somebody's car without their permission is also a pretty big deal in my opinion.
Florida State already has more thugs on their football team than any other college in the entire country, so I can understand how recruiting another thug like Noel Devine is probably not a big deal to you
