Another thread got me to thinking about the difficulty of both Alabama and Auburn's schedule next year. It concerns me that Auburn will be getting almost a full two weeks to prepare for the Iron Bowl while Bama will only be getting about 4 days to prepare. However, for you Auburn fans, does it concern you that you guys will be having to play 11 straight weeks of football without an off week for the sake of having an off week before Bama? Just wondering what you guys' take on that situation was.

I'm more concerned about having road games at UGA, LSU, UT, and Arky than I am about off dates. We play Ball State before traveling to UT, UK at home the week before going to LSU, and Furman the week before UGA so the schedule sets up nicely giving us a bit of a break before those games (at least i hope those games will be a break). Having to play UT and Arky back to back and on the road could be tricky. That being said an earlier off date would have been very benificial in my opinion.

Bama plays UT Chattanoga the weekend before the Iron Bowl so I don't think your 4 days to prepare statement is very accurate.

Auburn usually plays 10 or 11 weeks without a bye week.
