Where would you rather live: Auburn or Baton Rouge?

I have been to LSU multiple times and went to school at AU. I would rather live in AU hands down 100% of the time. It is a better college town in a better location. BR is close to NO (which is an embarrassment) and nothing else. AU is close to Atlanta and Birmingham (which is not aweful). As for the campus, you could argue either, but I think AU is nicer. As for facilities, AU's are top notch period.
Came across this gem a second ago and thought i'd get the SEC Rant's take on it.
i've been to both places, and Baton Rouge wins HANDS DOWN..

Opelika and Auburn are two different places. Opelika sucks. It is ghetto like Tuscaloosa.

I'd rather go to Starkville than Auburn. I've been twice and I can honestly say it's the only place I will not return. There's nothing there (outside the stadium) that impressed me...tailgating, campus, town, fans, stupid rolled tree, etc...

i really don't want to turn this into a NOLA/LA pissing contest, but new orleans is one of the most unique, cultured cities in the entire country. people that call it an "embarrassment" or "trash" are just voicing their own ignorance

Baton Rouge sucks, but it's still world's better than Auburn.
