For several reasons and mostly bad ones.

50 years ago NW Arkansas could not financially support the Hogs so they started playing a few games a year in LR to boost income. Now NW Arkansas, and within 10 minutes of campus, you will find the worlds largest retailer (Wal-Mart), the worlds largest chicken producer (Tyson), and one of the most successful trucking companies in America (JB Hunt). NW Arkansas is now the 3rd fastest growing area in the nation with median home prices well above the national average.

Obviously, LR is not needed for financial support anymore.

Beyond that, Arkansas fans are lazy. Those who live in LR and South Arkansas have an odd sense of entitlement to Razorback games. They feel as though having to drive more than 2 hours is absurd and, unfortunately, legislation and U of A decision makers sympathize with the "LR crowd". It's ridiculous and embarrassing.

The first 27 years of my life were in LR and I enjoy games at War Memorial. But I'm not part of the crowd that believes the U of A owes me something.

Its complete crap.

Maybe with the game possibly moving to Saturday, they'll consider moving it to campus.

The U of A misses out on revenue each and every time they play at War Memorial.

Not all fans in South Arkansas prefer Little Rock. I would much rather see the Hogs play in Fayetville any day. Much better atmosphere! I would gladly drive a few extra hours to see a better game.

I like it a lot.

One thing, though.... Tiger ought to be on top.

Actually that would be the correct way to list it. The visiting team is always listed first as in LSU vs Ark.

I agree and would love to go to a game in Fayetteville rather than LR. The stadium in LR is well... worn out. I realize that Fayetteville is a little farther, but the drive is a beautiful one and LSU fans travel well no matter where the Tigers play.

Wow, my fellow hog fans are right.
The game needs to move to Fayettenam.

I think the LSU fans would love a game here. It would be good for another reason too, LSU fans travel well. If the South Arkansas fans do not buy the tickets, the LSU fans will.

I figured since Arky has the entire state to itself they did it to appease the fans and alum once a year who live in Little Rock.
