I was surprised at this one. He was offered earlier this week. I don't expect he'll be seen as one of the two QBs we take in this class. Certainly a great athlete. I see him as a DB or WR in the end.

an article I read said he would get a shot at QB but most likely move to DB. Good pickup and a great athlete. Recruiting must be picking up with all of these scrimmages going on.

Saban does like those "athlete" types though. Multi-position types where he can place elsewhere and get production.

His teammate is Tai-ler Jones, a 4 star WR/DB. I don't know if Bama has offered him yet or not. Georgia has offered both of them, I think.
An interesting note: Their high school team is "The Red Elephants".

We offered, and the staff is very high on him. I'm not sure where he stands right now. I heard a couple weeks ago he was looking more closely at other schools. If Alabama can get him to campus this summer for one of the camps, maybe ground will be made up.

I guess that's why saban told the reporters at the press conference he had more important people to talk to (more important people = recruits). I guess he was at the scrimmage today?

I heard that he was in Tuscaloosa at practice today with his dad when he committed. His dad was supposedly very impressed with Saban and how he spoke to them about things.

You may have to wait on this one. He may or may not be coming in with next year's class. However, I am guessing that he was at least offered the chance to be QB, as that is what he wants and is also likely why he chose to go with another school other than UGA.
