The difference in the series was bullpens. Entering the seventh inning Alabama was tied or ahead in all three games. All three of Alabama’s starters went 6 innings and allowed 1, 3, and 2 earned runs respectively.
Starting pitching had a 3.00 era for the weekend. They did their jobs. The bullpen however had an infinity era for the weekend. Like an all you can eat buffet for Arkansas hitters.
