Sprint Football (not misspelled) is a concept some southern universities should consider

No, I didn't misspell "spring football" - Sprint football (West Point, the Navel Academy, Cornell, Penn, etc,) is a college football league with players who are not allowed to weigh more than 178 pounds.

If you look only at Navy's sprint team, there are players from Spain Park, McCallie, Montgomery Bell Academy, Argyle TX, North Gwinnet, St Benedict in Germantown, a bunch of other southern kids from Texas, Kentucky, Georgia, SC, etc

it's all high academic universities

I could foresee teams like this at Duke, Vandy, Ga Tech, down toward Furman and Wofford and Davidson, or maybe some tiny southern high academic colleges that don't have a football team at all

The game in general should return to limited substitutions.

6-man or 8-man would be fun to watch too.

Have to weigh in before every game. Sounds like little league.

That's not possible because I've given up on regular D1 football. Spring football would never cross my mind anymore.

Arkansas needs a Sprint football team, because we are high academic like a mofo

No tall guys allowed either I guess. If 6’4 you’d have to be a beanpole to weigh 178.

Weight limit

CSFL rules, also used by the MSFL, require that players must weigh no more than 178 pounds (81 kg), a figure that has slowly increased from its original 150 pounds (68 kg) as the weight of the American college student has increased over the course of the league's existence.[3] League rules specify official weigh-ins four days and two days before each game. Players must weigh 178 pounds (81 kg) four days and 2 days prior to game day. Players are allowed to gain weight back after meeting the weight limit
