So Cousins will be released and Penix has 3rd all tear and wont be back for the beginning of the season more than likely. Penix is not the answer. There are rumors the Falcons could make a trade for Richardson and I dont hate the idea. Without a first rounder Im not fond of taking a qb in the second. Maybe take a shot on Taylen Green or Jalon Daniels. They may go after a vet in FA as well. They will need at least two besides Penix.

The two names that have been mentioned the most for the Falcons are Flacco and Tua. I am on board with Flacco. Super Bowl winning veteran, experience with Stefanski, and familiarity with Matt Ryan. He’s the best bridge option possible. Trading for anyone (especially Richardson who has been terrible) would be more of the same and doesn’t fit Cunningham’s agenda. He stated that this would be the last time Falcons go into any draft with only 5 picks.

Would definitely be on board with Flacco. He brings the added bonus of being another guy who can help everyone else get up to speed in the new offense.

Murray would require a trade, wouldn’t he? Trade is not happening.

I agree, the kids attitude and work ethic is just toxic. After Taylen Greens combine the Falcons need to take him without a doubt. 6'6 227 and ran a 4.37 40 with his arm.

What do you all think about Qb Malik Willis and WR Alec Pierce. The Falcons need both. We all know about the Qb situation but they also need a legit wr opposite of Drake.

I think both will be paid more than the Falcons can this offseason. They are most likely looking for WR2 in the draft and Willis needs to prove more before getting that kind of money.

I think it's the opposite. He's going to get paid more than the Falcons can afford. Someone is going to give him a Sam Darnold kind of contract.
Falcons will probably be in the Kyler Murray conversation. He will get big paid by the Cardinals so has no real incentive to take a huge deal this season. He could probably be had for a similar deal to what Tampa gave Baker in 2023 (a 1/$6M prove it deal).
It'll be interesting to see who they bring in. If they sign Murray, it's a sign they're done with Penix because Murray isn't coming in to be a backup. I would be on board with this because I have never been sold on Penix at all.
