Did any FBS teams sign NFL players?

Basketball is allowing it.
How does this work?
Is it anybody with eligibility left?
So if you did 3 years at a college, got drafted, under this model do you have 1 year left? Or 2?

The better question would be can FBS teams sign a player that has played in the UFL?
It's a professional league, but not on par with the NFL.
Is it comparable to playing in the NBA G League or overseas?

I guess the "NCAA team vs. The Browns' Defense" debates will get a lot spicier in years to come lol
At some point could someone just run a pro football team and get a lawyer to do just enough paperwork to pass the "school" threshold??
