This post made me think...how many times has Miami played an original SEC team with a championship on the line, and what is their record in these situations:
2026 Fiesta Bowl (CPF) vs Ole Miss - TBD
1993 Sugar Bowl vs Alabama - Lost 34-13
1990 Sugar Bowl vs Alabama - Won 33-25
1985 Sugar Bowl vs Tennessee - Lost 35-7 (would have shared NC with Oklahoma if won)
So the are 1-2 so far in that scenario.
