I don't think anyone did. Granted he was horrendously misused by both chaney and coley so we never really saw what he was capable of until he was almost gone. The talent was always evident, but "NFL's leading rusher" was surely a nice unexpected surprise.

I never thought he would be able to hold up for a full season running between the tackles in the NFL. Dude is a hell of a player.

It's true that the talent was spread out and a lot of the guys were freshmen, but we may all die one day and not see another Georgia offense with as much talent as 2021. If Stetson Bennett ever has success as a starter in the NFL, it will become even that much more epic.
