Really enjoy it. I love the SEC baseball tournament. I guess I'm one of the few LSU fans who doesn't want to move it out of Hoover.Helps when its 15 minutes from my house.
Really never cared much about it until LSU made the CWS in 1986. But it really became a source of pride in the early to mid 90's when LSU football and basketball went into the toilet.

WOW, I never knew there where so many... I guess LSU and State are the only fans that really care and judgeing by the attendance of games WE ARE..

Sure the SEC and city of Hoover would prefer an Alabama-Auburn SEC tournament championship game each Spring.Basic Economics.
But the 2001 LSU-State, 2005 State-Ole Miss and 2008 LSU-Ole Miss crowds were something most other conferences would beg for.
Honestly, the 2000 LSU-Florida and 2004 Vanderbilt-South Carolina title games were more than 'respectable' in terms of attendance.

I love college baseball. I usually get to about 10 UGA games every year, and try my best to go to the tourney in Hoover, been 3 of last 5 years.

UK has really stepped it up in baseball. We aren't getting as much talk as we deserve, and will be at full strength this season after losing key players to injury.
I think we're ranked as high as #19 by some places. For real baseball fans, here is a little information on UK at some positions on the field, it is only 2 parts of a 5 part series they are doing, but still good info.
Not UK INFIELD
UK OUTFIELD

I'm ready for baseball season. By the way, I love having the SEC tournament in Hoover. That 2005 State-OM final was standing room only.

NO, you aren't. OM does a damn fine job of packing them in as well. See the stats below...

We are part of 2 of the 3 mentioned. Granted, we didn't exactly put on a show, but we bring da fans fo sho.
I am a big fan of our Baseball program. Being down here, I don't get to see them very often. I'm definitely going to try to score tix to the series at Alex Box. That's always a fun weekend.

Umm, Do you think the reason that Ole Miss was part of the 2 out of 3 you mentioned has anything to do with the fact that they were vs LSU and MSU. Ole Miss does have a fine baseball program but Large crowds are not their thing.

Aren't we like top 10 in attendence the past couple of years?

I agree, LSU and Ark were much higher, but I think that State and OM were very close. #7 in attendance in the country is the opposite of "Large crowds are not their thing".
With our renovation, our attendance will only increase.

I'm glad to see UK has taken more interest in baseball. When I lived up there it was tough to find college baseball scores in the papers. My UK co-workers had very little interest in how their baseball program fared.

Woo Pig Sooie!
I do not feel as though Arkansas has the pitching to make noise in Omaha but I don't think it is unreasonable to hope for a Super Regional type year.
We'll see............
