To all the players that have turned this season around and made us proud to watch Bama in the Rose Bowl again.

To the defensive players that postponed the draft and stayed to get us back to the Bama standard and largely carried us this season.

To Ty, Keely, and all the other players for staying around and competing rather than taking more money or quick playing time by transferring.

To Ty, Jam, Brailsford, our WRs, a bunch of defensive guys and all the others that have played through injuries and put their bodies on the line to get us to this point.

To Proctor for choosing Bama over Iowa…twice

For Cole Adams being a reliable PR and for Talty continuing to grind and get the STs back on track.

To our coaching staff for working hard to turn the season around after the understandable negativity and doubts following the FSU game.

Win or lose on Thursday, this team didn’t quit or fold amidst the pressure of this difficult season despite the first game stinker, lots of injuries, bad bounces in the first OU game, difficult schedule, etc. and that deserves some thanks and respect!

So thank you & Roll Tide players and coaches! Have fun competing in the Rose Bowl…you’ve certainly earned it!

2 additional things that coach mentioned in his press conference (one I left out of OP intentionally).

1) RW being a great teammate and having a good attitude despite what is hopefully just a severe case of the “sophomore slump.” It’s hard for a “star” to stay positive for teammates when your own performance is tanking. RW handled that well this year.

2) significant reductions in dumb penalties…didn’t think about that until coach mentioned it and we had really struggled with that over the past few years, even with Saban. Haven’t seen many selfish or dumb penalties this year.

If there are others that you thought of when reading the OP (or after), please feel free to add to this thread. Like to give credit where credit is due
